Nice to meet you! <br /><br />Anyone who is working in the development sector(I cringe a bit at calling one part of the world "developing") knows that family issues are the foundation of societal issues. When we stabilize families, we can then begin to tackle major social conditions, although some of them begin to tackle themselves once the family if functioning.<br /><br />I'm genuinely at a loss when people fail to recognize that when every home has mom AND dad gone we are looking at an impoverished society.
